What we believe:
Provided below is an excerpt from Article VII of the By-Laws of Project Holy Nations, regarding requirements for maintaining membership and employment with PHN. These By-Laws are what we believe and what we require for those who will partner with us, whether for short term or long term missions.
These are not requirements for people to whom we are offering help, but for those who want to be working with us. It is our objective to bring Holiness to the nations, and we desire to do that through honesty and transparency.
“Section 1. Tenets of Faith. Each member or employee of the corporation must adhere to the tenets of faith as described here in section 1:
We believe (a) in the verbal inspiration of the Bible, (b) in one God eternally existing in three persons, namely: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost; known more commonly as the Trinity, (c) that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the virgin Mary; that Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead; and that he ascended to Heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the intercessor. We believe that (d) all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and that repentance is commanded of God for all and is necessary for forgiveness of sins, (e) that justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith through the blood of Jesus Christ and (f) in Sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost, (g) Holiness to be God’s standard of living for his people and that leaders of any committee, church, or worship function, as well as employees of PHN must strive to live according to biblical standards of holiness, including but not limited to: being married to only 1 spouse (not divorced and remarried), dressing and keeping themselves in modesty and purity, and not using any form of alcohol, tobacco, or illicit drugs; (h) in the baptism of the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart, (i) in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. We also believe (j) in water baptism by immersion. All who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, that (k) divine healing is provided for all in the atonement. We believe in such ordinances as (l) the Lord’s supper and washing of the saint’s feet, (m) in the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus: First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air, second, to be followed by the tribulation period lasting seven years, third, to return gloriously and reign on earth a thousand years. Finally, we believe (n) in the bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
Section 2. Redacted

Each is required (b) to give account to their Pastor for their faithfulness to their church and their faith. Each member and employee is required (c) to be in good financial standing in their community and (d) a moral leader. We believe that (e) dress should be that as biblically stated: men to dress in men’s attire, likewise women in women’s attire, both sexes to be modestly dressed without adornment such as, but not limited to, jewelry consisting of gold, silver, and ornamentation of any kind, including markings or piercing of the body. We believe (f) in marriage as biblically defined: one man and one woman; any Officer of the board or Employee must be in a monogamous marriage, not discontinued by a bill of divorcement and must abstain from sexual impurity, including pre-marital sex, homosexuality, affairs outside of marriage, and the viewing of pornography in any format. Members and Employees should adhere to Philippians 4:8 to be used as a guideline in following these basic standards and conduct themselves as leaders in their respective communities and as representatives of Project Holy Nations.”
